G’day folks!
With the year well underway, I’ve been looking into creating the next exciting volume for MAiZ, which would contain chapters 5-8, including the introduction of Bullseye and the Mountain Mystery Mayhem.
However the question is which would be better: Black and white (as normal) or full colour.
While the first volume was successful (thank you so much to everyone who bought a copy!!), I’ve wondered if it would be better to have done it in full colour, even if it would’ve taken me a while to re-colour the first four chapters. And now I ponder the same predicament for Volume 2.
Technically it’s already done: all current pages could be compiled into a new book, though this time I’d like to add more development sketches and commentary. It would’ve take me long to concert the current pages into print readiness like before.
However, it would be cool to go back through them all and add colour, update the speech bubbles and font, and still add extra sketches/commentary.
The major concern for this option is it would take a lot more time, maybe even requiring a brief hiatus on the main comic so I can focus on getting through all four chapters worth of stuff and make it look all purdy.
Thus the predicament!
Perhaps you can help, dear listener! I’ve dropped an extremely short poll below of which colour option you would prefer for Volume 2. It would definitely help to know if there’s a big interest for either one!
