Quick update on today’s page!
Work and side projects has kept me super busy all week, so I haven’t had much time to dedicate to this week’s page! Because of this, today’s page will be delayed and likely won’t go up until either tomorrow or day after.
So sorry for the delay! We’ll get back to Cam’s cunning plan to avoid Gruff’s menacing-mech shortly!

G’day folks!
With the year well underway, I’ve been looking into creating the next exciting volume for MAiZ, which would contain chapters 5-8, including the introduction of Bullseye and the Mountain Mystery Mayhem.
However the question is which would be better: Black and white (as normal) or full colour.
While the first volume was successful (thank you so much to everyone who bought a copy!!), I’ve wondered if it would be better to have done it in full colour, even if it would’ve taken me a while to re-colour the first four chapters. And now I ponder the same predicament for Volume 2.
Technically it’s already done: all current pages could be compiled into a new book, though this time I’d like to add more development sketches and commentary. It would’ve take me long to concert the current pages into print readiness like before.
However, it would be cool to go back through them all and add colour, update the speech bubbles and font, and still add extra sketches/commentary.
The major concern for this option is it would take a lot more time, maybe even requiring a brief hiatus on the main comic so I can focus on getting through all four chapters worth of stuff and make it look all purdy.
Thus the predicament!
Perhaps you can help, dear listener! I’ve dropped an extremely short poll below of which colour option you would prefer for Volume 2. It would definitely help to know if there’s a big interest for either one!

Thanks for helping out!
Any comments or suggestions are also welcome down below!

That’s right! MAiZ is officially 6 years old!
It’s been bizarre how much this story has evolved since I started in January 2012. Meli and Jaz have changed a lot, and where their path is taking them continues to surprise me! I hope you have enjoyed their journey thus far!
I would love to hear what’re your favourite moments from MAiZ in the comments down below!
ALSO!! Last year I asked if people would love to contribute fan art for a fun collage to celebrate the 5 year anniversary. Sadly I never got around to do doing it, and I feel bad I never included the amazing work people shared with me.
Well no more! Here are the amazing fan works people sent in (I’m so sorry I took so long!!):

Hi folks!
Been feeling under the weather this weekend, and on top of that I have to travel for a funeral on Monday, so unfortunately this week’s update is delayed!
The page is already inked and got backgrounds, just need to finish colouring it and add text, so it should be up in a few days.
Sorry for the delay!
