Oh fuzzballs! MAiZ is officially 4 years old!

Has it really been four years??
Yep! Or at least, it should be. Because of the server change, unfortunately I’m not sure on the exact date when I first started uploading the comic, at least for the website anyway. However, basing it on the first page uploaded to my deviantArt, I can safely guess the official date is around (or close to) January 12.

So, starting from now, January 12 will be a new milestone for MAiZ! Woo!!

So what now?
Business as usual! The next page of MAiZ will be uploaded this coming Friday! Chapter 7 is close to wrapping up, with Chapter 8 already being written!

Also, this year I hope to be the biggest for MAiZ with a few potentially exciting projects I want to get underway. I don’t want to give anything away just yet, but I hope people will be excited to see what’s next for Meli, Jaz and the MAiZ crew.

Just wanted to say thank you again for sticking with the comic for so long, for all the fun Tumblr questions, absolutely amazing fan art, and of course, the awesome comments people have left over the years! I hope you’ve enjoyed MAiZ as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it.

Here’s to more years of adventure!

Chapter 7 resumes this Friday!

Hi folks!

Wanted to give an update on the status of Chapter 7! The whole plan to catch up on the remaining pages and get a head start on Chapter 8…

…Yeaaaaaaah, that didn’t happen.

Christmas and New Years turned out to be busier than I had planned, so progress was slow. Very slow. Not only that, had a lot of trouble writing the next few pages, trying to make it work and not sound dumb. You’d hope that writing each chapter would get easier and easier.

Ha ha ha…ha…..yeah.

That said, I’ve managed to beat past the block, and the next page should be ready to go end of this week!

So sorry for the delay! Want to say thank you again to everyone for your patience, even despite my crazy update schedule. It really means a lot!

See the new update 9am Friday! (roughly Thursday 5pm CST in the US)

Salt Lake Comic Con 2015!

Very, VERY, excited to announce I will be vending (for first time ever) at Salt Lake Comic Con in September 24-26 2015!!

Alongside my good friend Shane, we’ll be selling cool stuff including art prints and sketches!  I’ll also be available to do sketch commissions as well!
