Yesterday I celebrated my 30th birthday!
There was much rejoicing!! (well actually, I more or less worked, though I did draw some more stuff for the blog!)
Not only that, I was lucky to get two pieces of fan art from awesome friends for my birthday!
A symbolic image to commemorate my triumph of being tax free! My tax of yesteryear has finally been sorted and no longer a big concern! (at least until next financial year, yaaaay).
It’s also symbolic of my need to keep working on MAiZ, despite all my work commitments and stresses. It’s been 7 months since the last chapter updated and I’m endeavouring as always to get it done, and make the next chapter worth the wait, especially now that my tax is done and dusted.
I apologise to everyone who’s been checking back regularly. I’ll try my best not to disappoint!
Terribly sorry for the lack of updates! MAiZ Chapter 7 has slowly begun to pick up production again, so here’s hoping we can keep this story rolling!
Meanwhile, in between job hunting and sorting out the dreaded tax man, I’ve been working on some fun side projects to keep up my skills, like this one:
They’re part of a larger cartoon I’ve been working on since September of last year! Not sure when it’ll will be finished, but will keep ya posted!
The awesome Jhoan Aguilar has kindly offered to translate MAiZ into Spanish, which he’s currently in the process of doing!
Really cool to see the comic translated into another language, so I hope Spanish folks will get a kick out of it
